Lora Prevatte, CPA, CFE

Lora Prevatte is a Partner at Moody & O’Neal CPAs and has been with the firm since January 2010. Her background includes audit and assurance services, tax planning and compliance, advisory services, and cost segregation studies.

Prior to joining Moody & O’Neal CPAs, Lora was an audit associate in Raleigh, NC with Dixon Hughes, PLLC. Lora has eleven years of public accounting experience and is a CPA licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Lora has a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy, both from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is currently a member of the Estate Planning Council of Charleston, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (SCACPA), and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Lora has served on the board of directors for the Center for Women and the Estate Planning Council of Charleston. She was a member of the Leadership Charleston Class of 2014-2015 and selected as a recipient of The Charleston Regional Business Journal’s 40 under 40 in 2018.
